By now, you've of course downloaded Really Useful Web Apps, so what's next?
Check out these seven features you can get started with:
1. WHOIS Lookup
Under "Tools" > "WHOIS Lookup" (or CTRL + W), the WHOIS Lookup provides registration details for any domain name you choose to enter. This can tell you who owns a domain, which can be useful if you're looking to make an offer on a domain name that's already been purchased.
2. Ping Tool
The Ping Tool (under "Tools") can tell you if a Web Server is running via it's IP address or website URL. This is useful if you want to quickly check if one of your web servers is online or not.
3. HTML Editor
By creating a Project in Really Useful Web Apps, you can add HTML files and edit them within the program. Try right clicking a selection of HTML to use the convenient text conversion features.
4. Domain Name Finder
If you're looking to buy a domain, the Domain Finder Tool (also under Tools) will check whether a domain is available, and offer suggestions for alternative if the domain is taken (Provided by Domai.nr).
5. Task Manager
Also a file type under Projects, our Task Manager software offers a unique perspective on managing your Tasks - Hierarchies. This helps you organise and manage your tasks with ease.
6. Dashboard
When you start Really Useful Web Apps, the Dashboard loads and can be configured to display various information by clicking "Add Content" on the top right of the Dashboard. You can add a list of RSS Feeds or even content from a Website URL. 7. App Store
Once you've tried all these features, head to the App Store to download even more free tools for the software.
