Why are there no folders in the OPML Editor?
The OPML specification doesn't technically support folders. "Folders" in an OPML file are simply Outlines without a website or RSS url. To create a folder in the OPML Editor, simply leave the Feed and Website URL fields blank

What is an Applet?
An "applet" is a special type of software that installs inside
another piece of software. It's like a "plugin" or "add-on," but where
plugins tend to deliver a small, specific function; applets are fully pledged
software programs. In Really Useful Web Apps, multiple applets can be
installed and work together; creating a more powerful piece of software.

Overview
OPML Editor is a simple editor to modify .opml files. OPML files are used in RSS Readers (like Google Reader, Bloglines and NetNewsWire) to allow you to import and export lists of RSS Feeds you subscribe to. This enables you to easily move between RSS Readers should you wish to.
The Really Useful Web Apps OPML Editor enables editing of .opml files within a Really Useful Web Apps Project. The OPML file is loaded into a simple editing screen you can use to safely change the contents of the file, adding or removing feed entries and organising them in files.
